Im going to be rebuilding my lt1 with speed pro forged pistons and egale H beam rods, im going to get the heads cut .020 so it will be about 11.1. i want to hit it with 150-200 shot. will the crank and and 2 bolt mains hold?

 

I just made 520 on a small shot with a 2 bolt, although I do have a forged crank.

I really wish I would have gone with the 4 bolt, but if you dont, be sure to get the best hardware you can. Main studs are a must.

 

yeah, they will hold. arp main studs are a must, like posted previously.

 

yup it will hold but listen about the ARP studs.

 

It will hold for a while, it's not going to be bullitproof but in the end something will give.

No you can build stuff that will not break, it just costs more.
