What you need to do is monitor your oil pressure when priming. Does your priming tool have a collar that fits into the hole where the gear goes? If not, you won't get any pressure.

I'm getting 6 psi with my drill, but I can't keep a socket in the priming tool. Is there a way that anyone has primed the oil pump while in the car

What's a good set of bearings I'm rebuild the bottom end of the motor so I'd like some input on were to get the parts.
