The crank has a spot for the key but the hub does not. Is this normal on lt-1s. With the blower i need one with a key way.

Just dont see how it can fit snug with out a key way. I just pulled the hub and it seems like its spining, and i dont want to damage my crank. Im blown away . Anyone ever have this problem.

It is pretty much a given that if you are blown, you need to have a keyed hub to prevent exactly what you are describing. Factory hubs are not keyed.

You have to buy a keyed hub, and is very much needed with the blower else the crank could get messed up. I got mine from thunder racing. They're $85 bucks. www.thunderracing.com
