I have a 94 z28. over the past week i have had a pop noise coming from the left rear of my car. If i push down on the car hard enough you can hear it. It generally happens when i go over a bump, and when i had it up on a lift I shook the spring and it felt loose. The noise is drving me nuts, do i need a new spring? thnx

 

how old is the rear shocks???? end link bushings on the rear swaybar worn???? Just acouple of ideas....

 

If you put the car on a frame lift and the rear dangles, the springs are going to seem loose. Probably a shock, bushing or loose bolt.
