No A/C Compressor at all?

Bottom line, I tried to buy a used compressor on eBay and the clips were broken off the connection behind the pulley, so it is not usable. My car is already disassembled, so of course my belt won't fit back on. I NEED MY CAR!

Has anybody completely removed (not just A/C delete pulley) the A/C compressor? Is there a way to run the serpentine with no compressor or delete pulley, and if so, what length belt would I need?

I already ordered a reman'd compressor, but I have to wait for it to ship, so the car will be down all this week possibly.

Only if it's a Huffy Super Ultra Mega Trailmaster 5000. It's times like this I wish I never sold my motorcycle.

Any more input?

With the angles of the stock belts around the pulleys, I don't see how you would run a belt without some pulley in place of the a/c compressor.

That was my concern as well. I figured it if could be done, there would not be such a demand for the A/C Delete Pulley. Oh well. And my 5.0 Mustang friends make it look so easy to run only the pulleys they want!

Thanks as always Shoe.
