No AIR or EGR codes in OBD1?

I just got done putting longtubes on my 1994 Trans Am. I removed the AIR, EGR and CAT. I was sure my car was going to throw a SES light due to these items nto being deleted out of my PCM. But instead, no SES light has been thrown.

Am I just to use to OBD2? I was giong to get my car reprogrammed to have the EGR, AIR and CAT taken out of the PCM. But if not, i am going to wait until I do a cam/heads.

Thanks

How long ago did you put on the LT's? I have an obd-2 car and it took 1 week of me driving the car before it threw any code and the SES light came on. It less likely that the SES light will come on because obd-1 cars are less tempermental but it still may happen.

OBD-I AIR: As long as you have a good fuse in the pump power circuit, there is no code. Doesn't matter if the pump is unplugged and removed. Only OBD-II has actual flow detection on AIR.

OBD-II EGR: There is a diagnostic very similar to OBD-II, but it doesn't seem to be very sensitive. I'd guess that 90-95% of the OBD-I cars never get an EGR code when it is deleted. But it is possible, and sometimes shows up a year or so later.
