Stupid Fuel Line Question
I'm dropping a 96 LT1 in my 55 Chevy, so I'm pretty much starting from scratch. Modified the fuel rails to exit out the back of the passenger side head to new lines running along the side of the frame rail. Here's the stupid question: which part of the fuel rail does the supply line connect to and which is the return line? Supply through filter to FPR? or does the return come off the FPR?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Return comes off the FPR. The FPR holds pressure in the fuel rail and then bleeds off any extra. So, the fuel goes from the supply line straight into the rail, then into the FPR, then out through the return line to the tank. BTW, I would love to see some pics of your '55 with an LT1. Put up a link to what you have so far, if you have any pics on the internet.

I really like the way you ran those fuel lines. Lookin' good man!
The lines are also two different sizes. 3/8 is the supply line and 5/16 is the return line.
[edit] Though that might not matter to you after looking at your pics.
Great looking project.
