Nitrous vs blower vs turbo?
Direct port would be a dead give away that you have the set up, but do what you want to do and let us know if you pass. Second question, I believe that it's when you register your car don't you have to get the smog cert.? Call the DMV and ask. Just be sly about the question.
Yeah you do have to get it smogged when you get it registered. I already got my car smogged 2 months ago. But by time i do the Headers, cam, and nitrous it will be a few months. So what i wanted to know is could i get it smogged again in a few months and then have another 2 years till i gotta do it again, or is it from the first time i got it smogged.
I vote blower. Turbos are expensive and from what the programmers say....harder to tune. The turbo doesn't give you x amount of boost at x rpm like a pullied supercharger does. There is no doubt the turbos are better performers when running right though! About the damage thing...turbo vs. supercharger...same amount of damage...why would you NOT want to run full boost? If you are racing for power.....you wouldn't turn it down....and just under cruise neither make boost that is measureable by a guage either.
