Nitrous vs blower vs turbo?

I remeber seeing thread like this a long time ago but couldn't find it. My freind and i were having a debate on which would be best. He has a 95 GT, and said he is going to turbo charge or put a blower on his. More and likely a blower. I told him i would probably just spray on mine. He said that i'm dumb and should just supercharge it. What do you think is the best and easiest on the stock bottom end. Please don't say that i should get heads/cams first. Because after i order my As&m headers, i'm gonna get my heads ported and probably get the cc305 or maybe the xe224/230. Still undecided and i also got emissions to worry about. But anyways my car only has 53,000 on it now. So i don't wanna throw a blower on it and just destroy my engine before it even hits 100,000. Whenever i do blow my engine i will build it up to suit whatever route i will go. Also if you suggest nitrous what do you suggest for a 100 shot wet or dry? I will maybe move up to a 150 shot in the future. Thanks for any help.

id go with a 100 shot. A supercharger is to much for these high-comp engines.

75 to 100 shot wet system, nitrous all the way, if installed corectly you wont have any issues with it blowing up your motor.

Nitrous is cheaper to set up, but I wouldn't go over a 100 shot if you spray a lot without building your engine.

To me, 100 hp isn't really worth it, so I'll probably rebuild my motor to take a 200-250 shot.

Blower is nice, but too expensive for me, and I don't need the power all the time. Plus, you have to rebuild your engine for lower compression if you want to make some serious boost, too.

You can't run much boost on these engines unless you plan to rebuild within a hurry. I think if you ran a safe amount of boost compared to a safe amount of nitrous, the nitrous would prove to be the better route. These cars stock can handle a 100 shot without a problem. A lot of people run 125-150 shots without trouble. But supercharging simply isn't a good idea unless you have the money to rebuild the motor for it. Because if you do supercharge it, its not a matter of if your going to rebuild, its when are you going to rebuild.

111k and been spraying 150 shots for fun started spraying when it had 104k on it. I can only think of one bad thing about N20 is trying to keep the bottles full. The price of fills does add up quickly. Some times I spend more on N20 than my car payment

And worth every penny.

Do most of you recommend a wet or dry shot? Also which kit do you think is good? I was looking at the zex kit. It seems like a good kit.

IMO NX they only sell wet kits. Most are not big on Zex!

Seeing how you're in California you'll have to go with the dry system, wet systems are not allowed on street driven vehicles that are less than 25 y.o.. Also make sure that you have the cARB # when you go get your emmisions testing done. I love California but it makes modding a car a pain.

So Direct Port on the street is illegal?

Pretty much. Just find a system that is 50 state legal. NOS makes a 50 state legal kit and I believe the venom kit is also. It sucks I know! Unless you can get someone to look the other way but we all know how hard that is.

I'm not sure that there is a 50 state legal turbo kit. If there is one then I want to know. But yeah a turbo is the way to go. The supercharger kits are 50 state legal by the way.

Not sure if it's emissions legal though
