The new Vigilante 3200 is in!
Just finished up the install this morning. Started yesterday around noon. Took about an hour to button it up this morning. All in all it took about 7 hours, with some help from my friend Joe.
The only problems I had were the tranny bolts were stripped pretty badly from a previous trans. swap. Somehow I managed to get them out though, and got new bolts this time. The only other problem was the bracket the holds the trans. dipstick got bent when I was putting the trans. back in. So it made it hard to get the bolt started. But with a lot of trying I got it.
Fired it up and went for a spin. And all I can say is WOW!! I can't beleive I screwed around with that pathetic SLP 2400 stall for so long! It's gonna be a fun year!
I didn't take it at wot to the 1-2 shift, so I'm not sure if I'll have the shift problem or not. But it's too cold out and I'd just boil the tires if I tried anyway. So we'll see.
