where the pipes come off the headers, do they bend in towards the center of the car at all or is it a straight back off the collectors?

and also in your opinion do you think 'tucking' them up anymore then what your setup is, is possible?

Steve

How much clearance do you ahve for axle droop?

Are you running straps or anything to limit it just incase?
Then you wouldn't have to pull the rear section everytime you lift the car. Do a search on a jeep board for some ideas on a limiting strap if your interested in that at all.

they dont bend in to the center like an Xpipe would have to do........we ran them straight back because less bends = less restriction (and also less money). however, the H-pipe should probably be shorter for optimum scavenging, but oh well.

as for clearance.....you cant possibly tuck them up any higher.......the pipes are practically right against the car.

theres quite a few inches, maybe 4-5 inches.....it has never hit so far. no straps. i really dont put the car on a lift often, so it hasnt been an issue. i jacked up the car to put the new wheels on each side and as long as i did one side at a time, the axle didnt hang low enough to cause a prob.

It looks good but............I think I'd rather pay more and have them go over the axle.
