Questions on Installing my trickflow elbow

On the stock elbow, there is a large tube that runs into the bottom on the elbow and my trickflow elbow doesn't have anywhere for it to go. I know i need to drill a 5/8 hole for the optispark to go, but what do I do about the large tube on the bottom of the stock elbow? What is that tube for? Thanks

If you're talking about the large hard thing that looks like a crooked ***** then don't worry about it. You don't need it.

Its the one right off the bottom of the elbow, right below it. Looks to be oval shaped.

Alright. I just have to drill 1 hole in it for my opti spark then, and plug in the other one. Just pull that tube out and put it away with my stock intake?

its just supposed to allow air to go down into the tube and take the noise from the intake, but personally I couldn't tell a difference in sound, take it off, no problem
