At our last track day of the year we (me) managed to totally destroy the stock 4L60. It never shifted into high gear at the to end and detonated. Split the case in half, took out the drive shaft and turned the converter into a rock tumbler. We replaced it with a Monster Transmission prepped 700R4 with a 2500 stall. Anyone out there running their equipment? It seems to be a nice piece from what I have seen, but until spring time comes we won't know for sure
