New times with crane 210/224

1.86 60'
8.096@87.33 1/8th
12.561@111.00 1/4
This was with a slipping transmission. It bounced off the limiter 3 times at the top of 1st before it finally shifted, and almost hit the limiter at the top of 2nd shifting a few hundred RPM's higher than it should, so there's definatly a lot left in it. It was also only in the mid 70's so once if finally cools down here and I fix my transmission it should really cut some great times. I'm also still on the stock torque convertor.

Thanks for posting the info. Looks like a great time to me. Glad to
see the baby cam can put some numbers down. I was hoping that
I could get into the 12s with the 227. Now if can just solve my
ignition problems.

I could probably sneak a few 11 second passes in with a convert and rebuilt transmission in it. A guy that ran a 12.0@112.8 in the winter down here was only runnin 12.38-12.4's@109mph last night, so with a convertor and built transmission it will really wake up.

Are those numbers in your sig on a Mustang Dyno?? They are very similar to what I put down on a mustang dyno. Just curious.

Dynojet, but thats with a bad coil and runnin 12.0 a/f. I had the a/f leaned out and put a new coil on, and the mph shows I should be making quite a bit more power now.

12.5 for a car that put's out 322 rwhp is excellent, but since you say it running better I would say you might be in the 350 range.

Re: New times with crane 210/224

Nitto 555R drag radials. The first run I only did a couple second burnout and spon all through 1st, so I heated the hell out of them for my 2nd run and dead hooked. I didn't bother to try to get any more runs in since the transmission is going and I figured I shouldn't be makin anymore passes on it. Hopefully I'll find the money to get it fixed and throw in a nice 2800 vig before it heats up again down here in florida.

I wasn't looking at the tach, but im 90% sure it was almost redline, if not redline. I put in in 3 just incase it would try to shift into OD.
