do you want some stock pistons? i have the entire set out of my car. i'll be the nice guy and GIVE you 1 just pay for shipping. pistons are out of a 96 z with less than 100,000 miles. just let me know. so is that a lean tune or nitrous?

Folks looking at the ET are missing the point...118 mph is a nice start...ET is just a function of traction, MPH is the hp, so you're doing well...Like I said yesterday I was going 11.50s at that mph last year...A little suspension and a good tire and you'll have your ET...Even at full weight...I was 3650....

an M6 car takes a lot more work and practice to ET well.

Expecially one that has a clutch that hates to be slipped off the line like my car.

And now for the timeslips. I'm #25 And my previous best with my old gm846 cam was 12.41@114mph so I gained 4mph with the new cam.
Assuming everything else the same (DA, track conditions, state of tune, etc.) it sounds like your car responded to the bigger cam, regardless of who picked out the lobes. congrats, now learn to drive the thing

I have found the Mcleod ST, seasoned with a couple hundred street miles, to be fairly forgiving. It still grabs hard and wants to turn the tires over, but I'm still practicing to try to find that optimum release/rpm/track prep.

I agree, and it's funny because I went 12.5 at the same mph last year.

I'm on the mcleod single disk, a quick slip at 3500 resulted in a bog/dead hook to a 1.929 60', and while the track was still hooking I tried a 4000 RPM quick slip and the clutch never grabbed on me, it kept slipping. So I basically have to dump it which kills my 60'. Then the rest of the day the track wasn't hooking nearly as good as it was at the beginning, I kept cutting 2.00 60's. If my clutch ever goes out on me I'm probably going to be putting in a twin disk...

If you want to delete the page and a half of worthless bs of us arguing that throws the thread completly off topic go ahead.

Congrats man, I always had faith in Bret's work. Looks like you got a strong running setup there.
