New some advice...

My Stepson tried to start his '94 Formula this morning to no avail. There has been no syptoms of a problem. He said that it sounded like it was going to fire up, but wouldn't. I tried it this evening and it nearly started on the first try, but sputtered for a moment and went dead. On the second try, I placed my foot on the gas pedal just slightly and it fired right up. It was almost as if it was flooded. Any ideas as to what the problem was would me greatly appreciated. Here's a list of mods:

Stock bottom end with fresh rebuild, only 2500 miles on it.
Newly ported LT1 heads milled .020".
Comp Cams 305 camshaft.
New AC Delco Opti.
MSD coil
New Taylor plug wires
Electric H2O pump
Flowmaster muffler
TCI StreetFighter 3000 stall converter
TCI StreetFighter 4L60E transmission

TIA,
Kevin

First I would do is put a fuel pressure gauge on it, and see if the pressure bleeds off, can be either fuel filter, pump, regulator or injectors.

Basically do the cheapest route. Do the checks on the fuel pressure first. Then check filter, plugs, wires and if worse comes to worse the gawd forsaken OPTI crap.

Thanks for the ideas guys. It has been awhile since the filter has been replaced. I'll check the FP and make sure everything looks good there.
