Went to Zmax dragway last night here in Charlotte. The DA was in the 1100-1300 range all night. My previous best was 12.32 @ 114 with a 6 speed and a DA of -1500. Last night I went 12.23 @ 111 on a 1.69 60ft. At a local 1/8th mile track I have gone 7.62 on a 1.59 60ft, but I only went 7.78 last night so I know it has more left in it.

Nice times! That thing really gets out of the hole good! I'd be very pleased with that setup.

 

That is a very impressive run. What gear ratio are you running? What brand converter do you have? Stock heads?

 

Still has the stock 3.42 gears in it since it used to be a 6 speed. Converter is a TCI. Stock heads.


My best pass with the 6 speed was a 12.32 @ 114 at MIR. I am trying to get back up there sometime so I can run in better air.

Last time I weighed the car it was around 3600 with me in it. I have taken some weight out since then so I am thinking 3450-3500 with me in it. I really need to get it on a scale again.

 

you on a stock bottom end? how many miles? do you daily drive too?

 

Car has a built bottom end except for the stock crank. Car has 138k miles on it, rebuild has around 10k. I used to daily drive it but I recently got a new job and bought a Saturn Ion to drive back and forth to work. Saves on gas money and wear and tear. I do drive the car a ton on the weekends and even to work when its nice out.
