Hello, I just Bought a 94 Trans am with a Newly built LT1, Head work, Lt4 Hot Cam Kit, ATI Procharger, When i drove it i noticed a rubbing, whining noise coming from the rearend when im on the throttle. It doesnt do it when im off the gas. It has richmond 4:10 gears. Is it a normal sound with those gears, and it also seems to have a slight vibration when im starting to lift off the throttle. Any Ideas

Some have a slight noise to them. Depends on how loud it actually is though if it's a problem or not.

Many people seem to feel the Richmond gears are noiser than others, like Motives. The higher numerical ratios may tend to whine more than lower ratios. It is all dependant on how well they were set up when they were installed. If its not loud enough to make you want to stop the car and jump out.... its probably OK.
