I gained CONSIDERABLE power with headers. Dropped 4 tenths in the 1/4 still untuned with the cam, short shifting and an OK launch. (in a 285whp GTP)

Fix the rockers and get the LTs on. Why would you EVER do a cam without LTs?! At least why in the hell would you dyno expecting good things without headers!?

 

With tuning I went from 13.0's to 12.50's so that's a definite place you will pick up power. Plus, the headers will make a world of difference too. No worries

ohh and why is the cc503 crapp pontiac -97 it may not make the most power,but it is def. the best DD cam.

 

I think Long Tubes are one of the best mods you can do period to the car they will really pick up the LT1 and they seem to be the biggest problem you got right now...Well that and not having your rockers adjusted properly
