New Mods on: STB/SFC/Corners/Corsa!
Wow. I really took the car though the runs today for the first time. I had ran it up before, but not in the twisties.
The car feels more solid, but I can hear a few new rattles, I need some bushings now
It goes into the corners and feels much more firm, and as I throttle out it really grips and plants itself hard. I was impressed in the cornering and how the twist on the chassis had changed. Also when I jack up a wheel on one side, the other on that side goes up too. Not perfect, but a LOT better then it was.
The Clear Corners (not white, clear) were my "bling bling" mod. As soon as I put them on I thought it was a bit ricey, but it does make the car look a lot cleaner and simpler in front. I used orange bulbs, and when on they look similar to the stock signals, espicially at night. Not bad considering I needed them anyway in the new front end.
And the Corsa. Very nice. Compared to a loudmouth, there is more in the bottom end that was noticed immediatly, the sound is deeper and more menacing, as well as quieter. I want to get the high flow cat on, it still resonates a little. Also before the car is warmed up it's still pretty rough and resonates for some reason. I love it, and with the top down and cruising, it's nice and quiet, get on it, and it's ****-*** loud. Still hard to swallow the price, but a nice mod. The 3.5" quad tips under the bumper look really evil and are beautiful. I'll eventually try to get the smaller tips if I can, but for now it's great. They do a much better job of mounting the thing then anything else I have seen.
