I was thinking that the aftermarket forgot about us, but then lately I have seen a few people making stuff for us LT1 guys.

We tested a set of the Edelbrock LT1 heads........was letdown. A ported GM casting or even a bottom line AFR were better across the board for flow...nicer castings too.

Try aluminized, as in aluminized steel. Aluminum wouldn't last too long for a y-pipe application.

Werd. I just made a post about the Lunati timing set, but deleted it when I saw yours....

So has anyone used the Lunati timing set that's specific to LT1? Why the heck would anybody buy an LT4 set when this one's available for less than a stocker?!

I didn't even notice the water pump til you mentioned it....

I'm glad we're getting some parts finally!!!!!! I have actually heard that LT1 parts are going to become more and more common since more and more people are becoming willing to tear down these cars as they get pretty cheap to buy now.. you can get a good 93-95 for $5,000 these days, and that's cheaper than 5.0's are selling for here in Texas... and faster stock to boot

That waterpump isn't gonna cut it on the street... you need more like 50-60 GPH for a street car.

I order from summit a bit. Still waiting for my damn boost a pump, but it was a factory drop. I love to see TPI/LT1/LS1 section.

The only problem with Summit is that they dont know LT-1s. Further more most of the tecs are useless period, but i love the return polices and customer service.

The retail store in Ohio is very nice. Circuit City sized with a 3 or 4 floor walmart size warehouse attached.
