Since im beginning to mod my Z I was listing up some appearance things to add like slight window tint,small flame graphics etc...and I was looking at my Dash Cluster one day and noticed how beat up it was.I was thinking maybe getting carbon fiber interior for it to lighten it up (im not talking fake carbon fiber ****).It would also look nice...what would a full carbon fiber job cost?Im talking he whole dash,steering wheel,door panels,center console and the whole deal.About how much would it run me?Im thinking it owuld be quite expensive but I was just wondering.

To answer your question, carbon fiber is not my thing however if you check out www.rksport.com they do have carbon fiber pieces for the interior, you can get an idea there about the proce.

I've been looking for a carbon fiber interior for the past 2 years... I want to remove weight but I still want to have a "car" ... unfortunately the company that made the actual Carbon fiber ineterior ... I mean the real thing ... the entire center consol... radio housing .... The actual DASH! .... door panel housing ETC... stopped making the kit. It cost $899.99 for everything which was nice... for what you got... because they offered allot of components... They still how ever sell a kit for the LS-1 Camaro's... With some minor changes... You don't get as many Carbon Fiber pieces .... Instead of getting the entire Dash .. you only get "inserts" now... so it's not what it once was... I called up a couple of places to see if They could mold me an interior... They said it could be from 5K-10K just to creat the peices themselves... but they could make "covers" to fit over my exiting intereror pieces for around 2K ... I did see a while ago on ebay a guy selling a complete carbon Fiber dash ... I mean from the Driverside to the passenger compartment and back to the windshield... THE entire assembly for about 400 bucks... said he paid 600 or so to have it made... however it was just a slap over epoxied molding ... so it needed somework to be functional ... I've given up on the Carbon Fiber interior... now just looking for a shop to stretch some type of fabric over the Interor pieces... Good luck...
