new engine, what heads to go with?

Building a new engine for boost. I have a t76 turbo that i will be running. Capable of 900 hp. I'm shooting for around 700, 750.

The bottom end is gunna be fully forged. I want to get my compression ratio below 9.0:1. Even with -28 dish pistons, under 60cc combustion chambers put you at or a little above 9.0:1 compression.

I'm lookin for a set of heads that could handle the power, and with say a 64cc combustion chamber. What would you guys recommend? Should i just port out the stock lt1 heads, or should i be looking for a new CNC'd head? any recommendations?

You are going to want a set of heads built for larger chambers. The stock piece is going to be hard pressed to get into the larger CC numbers AND get the needed milling for flatness.

AFR's to start and I would give Lloyd Elliott to do some port work.

I would say look at Advanced Induction TrickFlows. My opinion of AFR is fairly low, more marketing than results.

I'm planning a twin-turbo set-up as well and I'm looking at going with RHS 235cc flowing 312/195. AFR do have some 215cc sbc competition heads flowing 325/230...they running about 3400.00.
