This past weekend at the local street car shoot-out we finally got my wife's car to run the numbers I knew it was capable of. After a long time figuring out transmission trouble's the car is running strong and this weekend showed it. On the first pass a new best of 14.002. I decided to richen the WOT mixture to 4% because of the air and the car responded with a 13.89, followed by a 13.81 and a 13.85. I then tweaked the WOT mixture some more and we got our new best e/t of 13.77 seconds. Not bad for a 2:73 geared convertible! We are very pleased.
