Thumbs up New dyno with crane 210/224

http://www.lifeinwidescreen.com/upload/Dynoheadscam.JPG
The a/f is pretty rich so I think I can break 360rwhp with it leaned out some more. And I don't know why it drops off like a rick then levels out, I guess thats normal? And I gained 30rwhp by doing the A4-M6 swap and its running a little richer this time. Not too shabby for a tiney *** cam....

Great numbers for that cam. It's nice to know what is possible with the
right combination of parts. I'm guessing 15-20 extra for the long tubes
and 20-25 extra for the ported heads or vice versa. Your numbers are the
best I have seen so far for the 227. Thanks for the update.

Re: New dyno with crane 210/224

227 is the part number 104227= 210/224 cam. 350-360 is about the most you're going to see: however that is clearly enough hp/tq down low and mid range to give some very impressive numbers if you can get to the ground. JMHO.

I'm getting my engine back together AGAIN (don't want to talk about it), and my mechanic says he would like to get it dynoed when it is back together.

I'm running the 210/224 and will let you all know what I can come up with.

I run that cam in a '92 A4 Y-body with AFR heads.

I haven't dynoed it, but I am very happy with it.
It's good to see some numbers on it.

But, I think it is more suited for an A4 than an M6 -- assuming the M6 is going to rev higher than the A4.

I know a lot won't agree, but I think that cam is about as big as I want to go and still have an extremely "driveable" vehicle. Most of the time, I forget the cam isn't stock -- very smooth running and idle. But, if I want to, it wakes up.
My description of my combo is "smooth power."
