ive heard differing opions on this, some say wait 200 miles to beat on it soem say drive it like you sstole it. heres what i did, i bought a used lt4 hotcam kit and installed it and i have 135 miles on it now, new TC, 2400 stall. how long should i wait till i get on it, kinda curious as to how tha cam feels. TIA

Hmm, well you have roller lifters so there really isnt a "wear-in" on the cam lobes or anything like that that I know of. I did do a few minute run in at 2000 rpm (but my wife was concerned that the neighbors might not like that as it was about midnight ). So that was all the "break-in" that I gave it. I don't recall the first time after that that I went to redline, but I wasn't afraid to to go WOT a bit that same night.

I don't recall having advice on breaking it in.

The only thing I would be concerned about is new gaskets, otherwise...

No breakin required but make sure you change the oil after 50 miles of driving or so to dump out all the cam lube and crap from the install.
