New best tonight.. though nothing huge...

Don't have my slips right this second but I had a couple of new bests...

Best ET of 11.26 @ 119.88 i think...

Best MPH of 11.43 @ 120.00, spun a bit on this run.

I trapped 120, so i'm happy

I need my rev limiter raised, i'm hitting the limiter before the traps and I don't recall exactly what Brian set it at... 100 or 200 rpm would do it. So as it sits the car physically can't go any faster

Congrats on reaching your trap speed goal .

Did you dyno tune the car, or just make some spot adjustments? Just disable the limiter entirely. The ECU won't go much past 7,000 RPM, and you are just about there crossing the stripe as is (according to your previous post).

Running out of engine before the stripe tends to hurt performance . A couple of hundred more RPM should put the fix in it.

Keep up the good work!

Congrats on the new bests. What track was this at? And what were the break downs? (For those of us 8th mile racers)

Outstanding! Any idea on what the DA was?

Unlike my old setups, DA doesn't seem to affect it quite as much, which is kinda nice b/c the car seems to run well in "meh" weather and in good weather. DA was approximately -200 ... Either that or hitting the rev limiter was affecting things last night b/c I was tapping the limiter way sooner than I was last time.

Aleks, no changes at all from last week.. I don't have any tuning software I agree a couple hundred RPM should do it.. i'm going to try to get the car dynotuned here if possible, if not i'll just have bryan @pcmforless do some quick adjustments for me in the meantime. Thanks for the props, your car is frickin' badass as well (moreso!).

tireburnin, thanks! I run at MMP (Moroso Motorsports Park)... below are the full slips for both passes.

Brian.. nevar!

I'm in the right (BF Goodrich) lane.

Damn dood, your car is a beast... I need to take a trip up to Moroso and run the car up there and see what it does. The only track that my car has EVER been to is OSW.

Well Bryan says my limiter is at 7200 RPM..

I can swear it's happening before the trap but it's hard to really tell. Oh well, I'll get it on a dyno to make sure all is well.

I guess it's possible with converter slip that a 4.11, PT4000, and 26" drag radial combo could be revving that high at the end.

This might sound stupid, but maybe go with a 27" drag radial?

It might not make you any faster, but you won't be hitting the limiter (if in fact that's what's happening).

Congrats on the new best

And as far as running out of gear, I'd have to say that it must be due to you convertor. Just for comparison sake, my car has 4.10s with a 26" tire, and I was crossing the traps at ~6300rpm @ 118.4mph.....but of course my car is a M6....
