Congrats on the 11 with stockheads and Na. You will run a lot quicker cause this stuff is addictive. I run stockheads na also with an automatic. This weekend I ran 11.52 115 with a 1.50 short time at the Thunder shootout with a +1200 DA. I am wanting some good air now. We've talked before keep me posted. Frank95z

hehe, that made me laugh, but its pretty true. Suspension needs some work still, but other than that i think i have the mods list covered

IMO, you cant compare this cam to a hotcam, they arent even in the same ballpark.

Compared to the 306, it has 4º more intake duration, and 2º less exhaust. It has a fair amount more lift, and both are on 112.

Frank, thats an awesome time! My best trap in air like that was 113.8x. Hopefully i can go a little lower into the 11s with some more suspension mods. I think a torque arm will help tremendously. I still refuse to cut weight however, the car is a PIG. lol.

I want to to go the track so bad right now. I finally have all the mods to really let it rip at the track (suspension, 12 bolt, street twin ) I am prettty sure i could nail a low low 12 or maybe even a 11 like Jared, but it wont happen this year since track closes next week and i have a huge exam comin up

Maybe next year, the track opens back up in January so it should be nice and cold

Does the 847 like the spray. I am building a lt-1 for the S-10 and plan on sprayin it into the 10's. Shouldn't be hard with a 3379lb. racewieght...thats w/me in it too

Also I am still debating on the heads...either stock or ported lt-4's or AFR's. I would like to run mid 11's on the motor. Do you guys think it is possible with my racewieght. Also I have a 4l60, 10-bolt w/3.42's and pull 1.84 60's right now with the v-6.

You guys are both going to want bigger gears. 3.42s with 6 speed are not going to be happy. But other than that it should run great

For the s10 guy, i would jump to 373s. I know you can get junk yard rears that bolt into the s10 with 373s. Think they are out of the blazers. Might be the way to go. The rest of it, assuming you get traction i dont see why you cant meet your NA goals easily withOUT the heads.

i was thinking of either staying 3.42 or going up to 3.73

i want to be able to pull up to 150 strong on the highway

with those 4.33, are you running outta 4th in the 1/4?

im really lacking knowledge when it comes to knowing which gears to run.
