Hey man, some more info on your setup? 383, 396, heads, etc. You have the same cam as the thread starter, correct? How does yours drive in the stroker?

Nick's stretching it a bit, all things considered I thought the car drove very well. Not much more surge than my 306, only problem he has is soft brakes/dying because of low vac.

I would consider dying due to low vacuum to be 'driving like crap'. Very impressive numbers though.

yeah i think i need a vacuum canister for the brakes and a fuel pump.. I am on the stock 120k mile pump.. And some tuning..

i wouldnt buy anything till you get the tuning done... im running a cam a little bigger then the 306 and it didnt brake worth a crap before i tuned it...
a little extra timing, and extra fuel at low rpm makes a hell of a difference.
i tuned mine in open loop with a wide band and i made the most vacume at about 13.7 air fuel instead of 14.7

Hes got fuel, following him on the turn pike at 80 with my ttops off I was teary eyed.

Looking at his tune he still needs timing down low, adjust VE, and prob some tweaking on the maf/iac junk.

whats it run in the 1/4?

i have a nice AS&M 54mmTB for sale and an electric waterpump with housing
make you a combo deal
