I just bought me 96z parts car. I gonna use the engine for my 94 what do I gott do to switch over to ob1? Whats all involved ?

 

You will have to install your 94 knock sensor in the 96 engine. You will have to get a new short Opti harness for a vented (95-97) Opti so you can use it between the gray Opti test connector on the 94 harness and the 96 vented Opti.

There will be a crank position sensor connection and an EVAP vacuum detection switch that you can just leave alone, and not connect anything to, because your 94 harness will not have connectors.
