Need your advice on custom cam
to get rid of the bucking/surging, you are going to need 4.10s.
an auto car has a converter that'll make it more friendly, the t56 needs more gear to make it more friendly. simple as that.
until you get your gears, stop your bitchin because we all have told you that you need them

Reamo04 - I thin k you are mistaking me with the origional thread starter ... I am not bitching, just saying I finally have got all the stuff to do my own tuning to try to improve my low RPM (Less than 2000RPM) very light throttle bucking and surging. Mine is not all that bad, and I do think a proper tune will do wonders ...
We will see. Awaiting my laptop battery that was shipped a few days ago ...

to be honest and after so many tries of having it getting better, i beleive i will build another setup.
This one was very nice with an auto but definitly not suit what i beleive "drivability" is with a T56.
Thinking going to 383 every day now.

I'm running a 224/230 605/622 112 camshaft in my Y-body. Although the car does have an M6 and 4.10 gears, I can still lug it around at 1100 rpms without any cam surge. Your tight LSA and possibly lack of a perfect tune is probably causing your problems.
i have a 245/253 with .612/.612 on a 107 and with a tune for my cars last setup and larger injectors it drove aroud fine and never surged or bucked when lugging it, so i would imagine its probably lacking a quality tune.
