Need an underhood switched 12v besides the coil
#3
Be sure to use a standard relay ( I like Bosch E5000 personally.)
I used the coil, been fine for over 2 years (knock on wood.)
If you want you can easy fish a switched +12V through the firewall right behind the PCM (need to remove it to fish wire.) Lots of switched sources in there.
Hope this helps,

Problem with using the coil is I have an aftermarket ignition and I don't know exactly which wire to use.
How did you wire it up to the ign fuse spinner?

Simple, actually. Take wire, strip it. Put the wire across the fuse bxo where the fuse goes, and push the fuse in (which will be a VERY tight fit on the wire)
Push the fuse in, the wire will bend around one of the fuse prongs, and will be held tight.

Use the fuse labeled "Cruise/AC". It works for me. Auto parts stores sell adapters to "piggyback" one circuit on another through in the fuse panel. Basically it plugs into the existing slot and provides an added fuse and wire to hook up to, besides the fuse that was already in there. Like they said, though, just pushing the wire in with the blade of the fuse works fine too. Just make sure to place the wire after the fuse (i.e. so that the current has to pass through the fuse before going into your added wiring), so that any problems with your wiring will still blow the fuse.
