need throttle cable measurement from stop
if anyone could take a measurement of their LT1 throttle cable, and possibly take a picture of where they measured from if its from a different spot from mine.
trying to put an LT1 TB on my l98 stealth ram car (with manual trans so kickdown cable is not an issue). i measured exactly 6" from the very tip of the post on the end of the cable to the tip of the black triangular piece. i need about an extra 1/4" of cable for the throttle blade to rest against the idle screw

your best bet might be to slot the top hole in the bracket, to allow the cable clip to sit a little closer tot he T/B
perhaps use a socket head cap screw(allen head) to allow the bolt to sit right against the bracket
