Need some opinions on my stock exhaust on my 94 TA

I need some info in reference to my stock exhaust.
Right now my exhaust is stock and my Future plans is going to be Mac shortie headers with a high flow cat (have to worry about emissions, so cant go LT)
Here is my question, the first mod to my exhaust is either a cutout or a Borla. I know its a BIG difference in price, but based on a stock exhaust, what would be the performance difference between a Borla Cat Back and just a Cut out ?

2. Question two is opinions on the Borla compared to the SLP loudmouth, performance wise AND sound.

The cutout will offer the least restriction, but the Borla will be very close since it has a bypass plate that can be used.

Swapping out the catback isn't just about the power. The sound has got to be there, IMO. And the stock catback doesn't have it. Plus most good catbacks have great looking tips and pipes.

I would get the Borla, Corsa, or B&B instead of the Loudmouth. Loudmouth sounds like a milktruck with a hole in the exhaust! That's my personal opinion of course.

IMO don't go with Loudmouth if you are going to get headers and high flow cat. It will be very LOUD. If you do get LM, I'd bet you will sell it and get Borla or something else after you get the headers.

I say go borla. My aunt has it on her 95 trans am and sounds awesome. You can also run a full open plate or even get an electric cutout that fits borla exahusts and run full open or through any size plate you want. Borla is kinda pricy but well worth it in performance and espically sound.
