Need some help!!!! Timing Chain Cover Questions

What is the difference between the LT4 Timing Chain Cover and a 97 Timing Chain Cover??? I ordered the LT4 Timing chain cover from TByrne Motorsports and got it today and it looks the same as a 96+ cover... I thought the LT4 cover was Composit piece like the LT4 Valve Covers? Any Help would be great...

Thanks,
Jay

Going off of memory here, so somone correct me if im wrong.

There are 3 different timing covers on 93 -97 F-bodies

The first one had a small center hole for the spline drive opti

The second one which ended in 95 or 96 was had a larger cam hole for the pin drive opti

While these cars were being produced they made the LT-4 which had a crank sensor and therefore a different timing cover,

And then sometime in 96 or 97 the gave the F-bodies the crank sensor as well. And I think the 97+ or and model with a crank sensor has the same cover as the LT-4.
