Need some help Quick!

There is a 95 Z28 auto white with 110,000 on body. He had the tranny rebuilt at 88,000 with a transgo shift kit and had the motor rebuilt at like 90 something back in 2001. He said that it had comp cam, comp roller rockers and ported and pollished heads. stock rearend. I asked him what it runs and he said that he never ran it but he said that he thinks that it would run 11's or 12's which i think is bull****. OR is it?? I dont think it would be that fast with what he had done to it. He is asking $3,500 but here is the problem the car is lowered 2 inches and he said 2 weeks ago he bottomed out and bent the crossmember. He got a estimate and said that it would be $300 for labor plus a new crossmember. SO i would like to know how fast would this car be and is that a good price and does the crossmeneber sound to be serious??? Thanks for the help!!!!

IF that were all he damaged, the car would be worth it. New K members are easy and cheap. The replacement ones are even better.

Remember he doesn't know what the car does and you shouldn't believe him. Assume it only runs stock numbers and deal with it from there.

You want to take the car to a REPUTABLE frame shop and have them look under the car. Drive it, test all the bells and whistles and get to know the car before you consider buying it.

I would take it to a garage no matter what and see what they say about the car. I bought a 10 year old car that was in perfect condition, but I didnt know enough about the lt1 at the time so I took it over to a garage and they told me it needed new front tires and other tha nthat it was good.
