What's your fuel pressure at?

If you don't know, go get a fuel pressure gauge and check it. There's a port on the fuel rail to do this. Plug the gauge in, turn key on and check gauge. Then start it up and watch the gauge to see if the pressure starts dropping unit the motor cuts off.

ok i took my car over to my buddy mikeys house and i think i found the problem, we ran his bad *** scanner on my car and kept getting a low voltage signal,so after checking a few things we found that if i wiggle the main plug into the opti the car will start but will still die, wiggle it and it will start right back up and die again. got a new plug for it still same problem, is there any way the optis plug could be jacked up? its brand new. remanufactured one from advanced.

FWIW I went through two optispark modules that I brought from Autozone within just a couple of weeks after installing them. The third time I put in an original GM replacement and haven't had a problem since. On one of the bad ones, the engine died unexpectedly but I was able to restart it and get it home. The other one just died and I had to have it towed home. Moral of the story, get an original optispark.
