I was driving for the first time of the year and it began to hickup a tad, and then it went from 8 cyl, to, 6yl, to 4cyl, and now it will not run at all. Cranks over fine.. If I hold the gas to WOT it wants to start almost like the timing is way off. Before it died I had a low res pulse code, so I figured the opti totally died and replaced full unit with delco. No worky! Then for some dumb reason I just bought a new ICM NO WORKY. I had a spare coil tried it still no worky. New wires also... Spark seems great. So my fuel pressure gauge reads 46psi before start... Pump is working.... What the hell else am I forgetting...

Hows the connection for the opti look? Did you check for spark?

 

Connection is good so is the spark.

You have spark at the plugs? Plugs are good? Are your injectors working? New wires before or after you started having problems?

 

OK so I got the car started under two conditions.. 1 I disconnected the MAF and 2 I had to hold it at WOT... I will try again with MAF connected... If it starts with the MAF connected and WOT where should I look? Is this the symptoms of leaky injectors?
