Need some GM part numbers, Shoebox?
Need some GM part numbers, Shoebox?
Hey all. Been searching on the boards and the net for a few hours now and cant find the following part numbers for my 1994 Firebird Trans Am:
MAP Sensor Bolts (Should be 2)
TPS Bolts (Should be 2)
IAC Housing (The unit that bolts to the bottom of the throttle body that houses the IAC)
IAC Housing Bolts (I think like 6 or 8 little alen bolts that bolt to the throttle body)
IAC Bolts themselvs (I think 2 of them)
2 studs + nuts that hold the coil/icm to the heads
If there are no P/N's aval, can I please have a size's for the bolts. Thank you.

Re: Need some GM part numbers, Shoebox?
ok looks like i found a few of them. It seems GM P/N 17113121 is the IAC housing under the throttle body. 17113098 seems to be ALL the throttle body bolts (Top plate bolts, IAC housing plate bolts, IAC sensor bolts, TPS sensor bolt). So it looks like I still need the following:
Map sensor bolts (2)
Stud and nuts for the coil/icm bracket
TPS Sensor gasket (goes between tps sensor and tb)
IAC sensor rubber o-ring (not sure if this comes with new IAC)

Re: Need some GM part numbers, Shoebox?
According to the parts manual, you can't just get these individual pieces. Rather, you need to order "service kits".
pm me your e-mail and I'll send you a couple of jpgs of the right part of the parts manual.

You know, you might be better off just buying a (used) stock TB to get most of the parts you need... Lot's of guys sell their stockers when they upgrade. Check the Parts For Sale section.
