Need some easy or free mods!

I have a '93 Camaro Z28 6-Speed. Its stock, just has SLP intake, tb bypass, and a flowmaster muffler. I would like to get some power out of her without having to spend alot of cash, something i don't have. I just would like to basically know whats the best bang for my buck, or something i can do next to nothing. Thanks, Daniel

The throttle body bypass is one of the common free mods. If you do a "search", you will find many posts outlining the procedure as well as some other basic free/cheap mods to add a little more power.

A cut-out would be pretty cheap, under $100 installed

If your fat ,YOU can lose weight! Just kidding, you could gut your cats and eliminate the silencer tube on the intake elbow. You could also do the coil/icm cooling mod.

Although it isn't free, I recommend as one of your first mods a new shifter since the stock shifter is a flimsy POS. Do a search, personally I love my pro 5.0, it really should be the first mod to do on any 6-speed car. Improves the overall pleasure of driving, and insures you never miss a shift again. It's easy to install too. I was kicking myself for not having done that mod sooner.

For free/really cheap mods you have:
TB coolant bypass
MAF descreen/porting
IAT sensor relocation
removing cat(s)
disabling CAGS

http://shbox.com/page/index.html This is a very good site and can help you do a number of things, including the ICM cooling mod.
