Alright, Ive been in this situation for the last 4 months. Back and forth and what to do with my car. I have finally decided my only option is a 355 or 383. I really do not wanna do anything with my car unless I can get a fresh start, I dont want to drive around knowing a cam could throw something in the engine. I am looking for a quick car, streetable...although it does not have to be too friendly because I only drive 5 or 6k miles a year. My goal, has always been between 375-400 rwhp, if I cant afford it, Ill take less, just trying my hardest to get there. What have all you guys done? I am really looking for how much have you guys spent in the end. I am really not looking for just how much a block costs, I need to know totals, because my dad is loaning me some of the money. If you guys could throw some lists and prices that would be awesome. I am just trying to get an idea on final price. I know there will be hidden costs and problems, but those come with anything.

contact scat. They have stroker kits for the budget racer. That should give you about 350rwhp. Cam and headers should get your goal after that

As far as where you should go with a 355 or 383 look at the number of posts you have... fate has giving you an answer
