Need a part number (dont know if im in good section)PLEASE!!

Arrow Need a part number (dont know if im in good section)PLEASE!!

Ok i need the part number of the the plastic ring connector that hold the shift boot of a 6 speed(1995) in the center console.The one that i got is broken.

And the stupid dealer just want to sell me the hole shift boot who comes with this ring because he dont see the part number for the ring only...

He ask me if a could get the part number. So im sure there is someone who as this part number.I have a inpection the 1st of april and i need this part so bad.

PLEASE HELP ME

Well I have a parts CD and it does not show a band that holds the boot in place.
I know what you are talking about. BUT it only shows the actual boot and does not specify the location of band.

The boot # is 17997757 Boot,m/trns cont lvr.

If you go back tell them you need this part and take a good look at the part before you buy it. It may not have a specific part number and maybe be considered apart of the boot.

Thanks for the help but i already know that Some guys says to me that they bought only the the rings but the dealer was needing the part number...

AFAIK; The ring can be had separately. For 98 and up F-bodys. Not for your 94 though.
