Thanks for the diagram shoebox!

This is on a 97SS.

I have a break in the air injection system where parts 11 & 15 in this diagram join. This is on the driver's side. It happened on the way to work this morning, so all I've had time to do is run to Pepboys & get some high temp tape & a couple of clamps to band-aid it for the trip home. Taking a quick glance, it appears the check valve threads onto the pipe, which means I'll need a new pipe & maybe a new valve if I can't get the broken stub out of the valve. Does anyone have the part number for the pipe? Thanks to shoebox, I've already got the valve p/n, 22048212.

GM PART # 12552898 for the pipe. I thnk the valve has changed to GM PART # 22040805.

On 96-97s there is also a fitting between the pipe and the exhaust manifold. That is GM PART # 12552329 if you need it.

 

i have a valve you can have for the price of shipping but it might not be worth it pm me if you want it though

I don't. You may have to find it at a salvage yard. It looks to be discontinued.
