Need Opti Help Quick

i just bought the delteq kit and my opti is toasted. i think its just my cap and rotor, but not certain. i cant find anyone that sells just the optical sensor. can anyone out there help me. i just need the optical sensor cause thats what delteq runs off of. thanks for any help.

I don't think there is anywhere to buy just the optical sensor. Do a search on the board though and you can find info on how to test the optical sensor in the opti you already have to make sure it is working. Most of the time the optical sensor is not the problem.

i didnt think so, its only been on for about 1 1/2yrs. do you know where i can buy the opti and not the cap??? oh, and how do i go about searching.

Near the top of the page right above the advertising banner there is a search button, you can use that to search for keywords in the forum, i'ts pretty useful for finding info on just about evrything you might want to know about F-Bodies. I only use GM opti's as alot of the ones from parts stores are remanufactured units and aren't as reliable, but some have had good luck with them. Check in the for sale section on this forum also (search for opti in the parts for sale section), you see them for sale in there pretty often too.

so yeah, its not my opti. i had a rubber patch stuck in my throttle body from where i tried to plug the slincer in my CAI. so thanks for the help ill post agian if i have any trouble..THANKS ill diff use that search thing
