The Brembo OEM-style rotors from tirerack.com look pretty good to me. Like you said, those rotors with Hawk pads should be sufficient. Plus, they are $53 so you don't have much to lose if you go with the Brembos.

camaro maniac- thats exactly what im thinking. i just might be the first person to try this setup and i guess ill tell you all when i get it done. how hard is it to put the new rotors and pads on. isnt it just take off the caliper replace pads and pull the old rotor off put the new one on and put the caliper back on then tighten everything back up and tahts it? then bed the pads into the rotors? isnt that when you drive at various speeds and apply light medium pressure to brakes to put a film on the rotors?? thanks everyone.
