Cai

Well, I got my Honda intake to work on my Z, check out the site;
www.geocities.com/gbear24_7/techandmodpage.htm
I do recommend doing this, out the door was a total of $86. That's still $100-120 cheaper than your common CAI kits.
I will say that I had no idea what I was missing!! Even if you don't go this route, definitely get a CAI, the difference is phenominal!!! There was a heck of a SOTP feel!!!

Thanks, I would take the credit, but the tube came polished (aluminum) when I bought it.

None of them have a 90* bend that is long enough to fit in the wheel well, but someone on this site used some pvc I believe and made one that went in the wheel well.

Im wondering if that tube is big enough to give your 350 any real power, remember it was designed to flow for a 4 banger

It definitely gave me more power, remember it has a 3" inlet. The ricers are notorious for going "too big", so their idiocy is our gain in this instance. BTW, there is a member here that went from a K&N CAI to this and said that he liked this setup better.

Seems to me that if you can run no problem on 3" exhaust and mash all that EXPANDED-DUE-TO-COMBUSTION air out, then 3" should be plenty for an intake. Especially with no major crimps that disturb airflow.

Ya, Ya I know exhaust is being pushed and intake is being pulled but still.

I sure am posting a lot today
