Need info on brand known as G2.
I see these guys make everything from air intakes to spark plug wires and even euro style gauges. I was wondering does anyone have any G2 stuff and if so how good are their products?
I bought a few items from them, they make some very nice products. They tend to be a little expensive though, but they have good stuff. The only product of theirs I've heard any thing "bad" about is their CAI. It's just not the most efficient design compared to most others.
Damn and would you know it I was going to buy a G2 CAI. Thanks for the warning, I was going to buy one instead of a K&N because of the simple fact it looked cooler and I thought most CAI were about the same anyway.
The K&N cai is a much better design from what I've heard. The problem with the G2 is it uses part of the stock airbox that attaches to the MAF and use the same stock size panel filter. The K&N and most others use large cone filters and replace all of the stock airbox with a better flowing design.
Sorry...but G2 stands for LG Motorsports
Lou Giglliotti is a Trans Am, Grand Am racer with several World Challenge championships.
Call and ask for Lou and you will most likely get to talk to him. Great people.

Most of the LG Motorsports stuff is overpriced. A lot of it is just relabled stuff from other sources. An example - last time I checked, he was selling the 1LE inlet bellows for $99...... Jason Cromer sells it for less than $50.
I do have the often-maligned ("its gonna break your windshield") G2 4-point shock tower brace, and it is a quality piece (and 7 years later my windshield is still in one piece
). Back in the early days of the 4th Gen, in 94 when I bought my car new, LG Motorsports was one of the few sources for aftermarket parts. They were very sloppy on their orders and shipping. If you leaned on them long enough, things got straightened out, but it was obvious Lou enjoyed racing a lot more than he enjoyed "customer service".

Yes their stuff is very high quality. I have talked to Lou and their website is not updated often nor is the pricing.
They have many new items that are not even listed, such as the C5 brake conversions and the new aluminum LCA's.
Lou will work with you on price if at all possible.
I am a little biased since I have ran with Lou's son Louis at the road course and Lou was so helpful in teaching us what to do.
They are very nice people that build quality products that they test and use racing.
