i have a 1994 Camaro with a stock ecu..

i just got done doing a 383ci with ported heads and 2.02's and 1.60's
CC306 and 1.6rr's
g2 intake and mass air....
42lbs with aftermarket FPR..
Hooker long tubes..


will it run on a stock computer settings? and i heard that with 42lbs that it will flood the rings?!?!?!?

you can run it with 24lb injectors until you get your computer reprogrammed. it will run crappy but it will be ok. I would not do WOT runs though, risk of leaning out.

If your computer thinks you ahve 24s and you are running 42s......

If I was you I would get a mail tune before you drive it. After that I would try to get it dyno tuned.

Why would you get a mail tune then get a dyno tune? That's over 100 bucks just on the mail order tune.

I would want to get a dyno tune eventually, maybe not right away but the dyno tune would be able to get some more ponies out of your car.

The closest dyno tune I have is 2 hours away, there is no way I would drive my car that far without any kind of tune with his mods(assuming you don't have a way to trailer it).

With a setup like that a Mail order tune will do perfect. The mass air LT1's are so predictable when it comes to tuning and particular mods.

one suggestion though, keep the stock MAF and go with 30lbs SVO's.

To break it in before wringing the snot out of it on the dyno,and to make it not wash the rings out of it.
Nobody said racing was cheep.

Yes on the tune.
Ring wash is ya put so much fuel in the cyl's that the rings don't seal or seat from the gas,and no lube. If ya have molly rings they will slick out the cyl walls and never seat.

sounds like i'm going to do that
