Just got my car back from the shop after getting a new clutch and I got this noise out of no where. Initially I thought it was valvetrain so changed lifters rockers, and pushrods still didn’t fix the noise. Could it be rod knock?

 

Seeing that a new clutch was just put in I'm thinking that something in that assembly is making contact with something it isn't supposed to.

 

Get the car up on ramps and see if you can locate where the noise is loudest with a mechanics stethoscope. It might be something related to the clutch install, but I would not run it much until you can isolate where it's coming from.

What is your oil pressure showing at idle?

 

Does the noise change when you push the clutch in? The second video sounds like a header leak at the flange. Is the noise consistent or erratic?
