Question Need Help In street tire choice 15x10!

I now have a set of four weld draglites. 15x5 1.75 BS draglites up front and 15x10 7.5 in back. Now my biggest problem is picking some good street tires for them! not slicks I want to drive this daily with this set up. But what brand size width? I really do no not want to cut or message the inner fender well on the rears so I need a street tire that is not so wide or to tall. SO my fellow F body drivers I ask you for help!? Send me pics or post um of your set up

That 7.5 BS is extreme if you ask me, but then I run 15x10 with 5.5 BS and 275 50 15s and yes it sticks out, Its the 70s again yeehaw!!!!!!!
You might get away with the 275 but a 315 you will have to massage some stuff inside to keep it from rubbing.
Get some other opinions though cause someone may have gotten a 315 to fit with that backspace and minor clearancing, or maybe none at all. But I doubt it.

BFG makes a 295/50/15 that would probably fit pretty well.

295/50's at Tirerack.com

good luck

You will need to go and double check your clearances, but my hunch is these will fit. Ride and handling will not be good but they will look great.

I ran the 26" x 11.5" x 15" ET Streets and with 7 1/2 backspace they would just barely fit in the back wheelwells. The sidewall measurement on those are about the same as on the ones listed above so my guess is they will work fine. I actually used a 6 1/2 backspace and flared the fenders.

I cut the brake clips and did enough grinding so I did not need to use spacers.

Thumbs up

thanks tnthub
I think I might just get those tires you suggested! they look good for a street tire. Is the ride really that horrible. I have Mustang buddies who run the big and little combo for years and they never ever complain. Could you send me a pic of you front and back brake calipers so I can get Idea on how much grinding and cutting is needed for this setup. Is it safe to drive dialy with cutting the front brke clip? So your webpage your fronts look like they tuck good they look flush. Please send me some pics thanks
